TRUEPOINTNEWS- A senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Benue South Senatorial District, Chief Patrick Ojechema Idoko, the Achijuka Ny'Obi has expressed deep sympathy over the tragic fire outbreak that gutted Ihiokwu Main Market in Obarike-Ito, Obi Local Government Area, on Sunday morning.

The inferno, which destroyed properties worth millions of naira, is a heavy blow to traders and business owners who rely on the market for their daily sustenance. 

Chief Idoko in a statement signed by Mr James Ibechi from his campaign media office, commiserated with all those affected and equally shared in their grief.

He called on the Benue State Government, relevant agencies, and well-meaning individuals and organizations to swiftly intervene and provide urgent relief to the victims, even as he  harped on the need for immediate support, including relief materials and financial assistance to help them recover from their losses.

Chief Idoko urges the people of Obi LGA and Benue South at large to stand in solidarity with the victims and extend a helping hand to ease their burden assuring them of his commitment to ensuring that they receive the necessary assistance to rebuild their lives.
