Senator Dr. Tony Nwoye, representing Anambra North Senatorial District, has been making waves with his impressive achievements in the Senate. Within his first year in office, he has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the development of his constituents and Anambra State at large.
One of his notable achievements is the construction of critical infrastructure projects that have significantly improved the living standards of his constituents. For instance, the pioneering and first-ever tarred road to Umueze Anam Community in Anambra West is nearing completion, with earthworks, scarification, and stone base construction already completed. Asphalting is expected to be finalized this week.
Nwoye has also prioritized human development and empowerment, providing over 13,000 constituents with various programs, including provision of boats for fishermen, marine ambulance services, training, and equipment for carpentry, bricklaying, and fashion design.
Additionally, Sen Nwoye has already distributed laptops, refrigerators, and other equipment, and conducted training programs in Forex trading, e-marketing, and skill acquisition and gearing for more diverse interventions.
The senator’s commitment to improving road infrastructure is evident in his efforts to rehabilitate federal roads linking major communities in the area. He inspected the rehabilitated federal road linking Nsugbe, Umueri, Aguleri, and Omambala communities, emphasizing the importance of boosting transportation of agricultural products from farms to markets and enhancing economic activities.
Nwoye’s dedication to his constituents is further demonstrated by his construction of multipurpose modern youth centers, building of lock-up shops with solar-powered boreholes, and development of fish farms and poultry clusters.
