(Truepointnews Abuja) The Ede Daughters of Okpokwu Local Government Area on Thursday paid a condolence visit to the Deputy Spokesman of the House of Representatives and member representing Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Hon. Philip Agbese, following the demise of his uncle, the late Chief Dan Agbese, a renowned journalist and national icon.

Upon arrival at the lawmaker’s Abuja residence—popularly known as the “Constituency House”—the visiting women received news of an additional bereavement: the passing of the Congressman’s father-in-law. The development deepened the atmosphere of sympathy, as the women extended their condolences on both losses.

The first son of the late Chief Dan Agbese, Engr. Okibe Agbese, was also present to receive the delegation and appreciate their show of solidarity during the difficult period for the family.

In honour of their visit, Hon. Agbese hosted the women to a banquet, expressing gratitude for their support and prayers.
