In a statement made available to the press, Ogbu described his victory as a collective achievement made possible through the overwhelming support, unity, and confidence shown by party faithful and supporters across the constituency.
He specially appreciated prominent leaders and stakeholders of the party, including Rt. Hon. (Dr) Stephen Onmeje, Chief Patrick Ogbu, Elder Anthony Ogoro, Hon. Ede Ogaba Ede, Engr. Simon Oketa, Hon. Sunday Agbaji, Hon. Rose Ameh, Hon. Agbese Onwe, and Hon. Agbese Charles Onazi, among others, for their encouragement and contributions toward the success of the primary election.
The ADC candidate also commended the leadership of the party at the local government level, particularly the party chairman, Hon. Shagari Ejeke Dogo, the secretary, Peter Ocheje, members of the local government executive, as well as the ten ward chairmen and their working committees for their dedication and commitment throughout the process.
Ogbu further extended gratitude to his wife, Hon. Mrs. Happiness Oyije Ogbu, friends, political associates, and supporters for standing firmly by him during the journey.
He assured the people of Ado State Constituency of quality representation if elected into the Benue State House of Assembly, stressing that his emergence marks the beginning of a renewed commitment to service and development under the “Ado Service Project” agenda.
“God on our side, together, we will build a better Ado,” he stated.
