Frontline contender for the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency seat in Benue State under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Hon. Agada Ogwuche Guchi, on Thursday stormed the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja to officially obtain his nomination form ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The prominent politician, widely known for his generosity and grassroots connection, was accompanied by his wife, family members, political associates, and a large number of supporters, many of whom reportedly traveled from Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Local Government Areas to witness the historic moment.
The atmosphere around the party secretariat was filled with excitement as supporters chanted solidarity songs and waved banners in support of the aspirant, expressing confidence in his leadership capacity and vision for the constituency.
Speaking shortly after obtaining the nomination form, Hon. Guchi expressed appreciation to his supporters and party leaders for their unwavering encouragement and commitment to his aspiration.
“This overwhelming show of support is a clear indication that our people are ready for a new era of purposeful and people-oriented representation. I am deeply humbled by the love and confidence reposed in me,” he stated.
He further added;
“Our people deserve quality representation that will attract meaningful development, create opportunities for young people, empower women, and give every community a sense of belonging. I am stepping into this race with the fear of God, sincerity of purpose, and genuine passion to serve,” Guchi added.
The aspirant also called on party members and supporters to remain united and committed to the collective vision of building a stronger ADC capable of delivering victory in the forthcoming elections.
Analysts noted that his official entry into the race is expected to reshape political calculations within the constituency ahead of the 2027 polls.
