Truepointnews Abuja-The ADC candidate for Benue State House of Assembly, Ado State Constituency, Hon. Nelson Ogbu, on Thursday joined prominent stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to pay his last respect to late Engr. Ijachi Owoicho at his burial ceremony in Iga Okpaya, Apa Local Government Area.
Apart from Hon. Nelson Ogbu who is from Ado Local Government Area the burial was also attracted other leading ADC stakeholders, including Sen. John Ngbede, Chris Adaba Abah, Hon. Solomon Eigege, and the ADC Senatorial Candidate for Benue South, Dr. David Olofu.
The gathering provided an opportunity for the ADC leaders to stand in solidarity with the bereaved family and honour the memory of the late engineer.
Dr. Olofu described the deceased as “a man of excellence, integrity, and service to humanity,” whose contributions to Benue South would not be forgotten.
Hon. Nelson Ogbu expressed his condolences to the family, and prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased, while wishing the family strength and comfort during this difficult period.
The presence of Hon. Nelson Ogbu and other ADC stakeholders at the ceremony reflected their commitment to standing with the people and communities they seek to serve, particularly in moments of grief and loss.
