Benue State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hails the Government and people of the state at this season of Easter which marks the travails and triumph of our Lord Jesus Christ at calvary.
The party particularly commends the resilience of the spirit of the people at this moment when they are beset round about by the multi-pronged challenges of Coronavirus (COVID-19), renewed armed attacks by Fulani herdsmen on one hand and Jukun militia on the other.
In the midst of these all, the people have kept their spirits high and their faith in God Almighty to whom the state was dedicate by His Excellency, Governor Samuel Ortom
The result of such uncommon fusion of faith by the people and their Leader, Gov. Ortom in God Almighty is the assurance of victory against all of those challenges.
It is the faith of the Benue PDP that as our Lord saviour, Jesus Christ, triumphed on the cross at calvary, so shall Benue State triumph against the challenges of COVID-19 and armed attacks against the people.
We pray God Almight continue to engrace Gov. Ortom and leaders of Benue with the wisdom to lead in righteousness, and may His blessings, guidance and protection continually be the portion of the people now and forever more.
