Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has assigned Comrade Ojotu Ojema to oversee the Ministry of Youth and Sports as Commissioner while Dr. Joseph Ngbea takes charge of the Ministry of Health and Human Services.
Governor Ortom who briefed journalists today at the New Banquet Hall of Benue Peoples House Makurdi on the development said the State Executive Council made minor changes to some ministries.
He noted that a new ministry, Ministry of Industry and Cooperatives has been created with Barrister Merga Kachina taking charge as Commissioner while Mrs. Ladi Ajene-Isegbe has been redeployed to the Ministry of Trade and Investment.
According to the Governor, Cooperatives has been removed from Rural Development to make up Ministry of Industry and Cooperatives.
Newly sworn-in Special Adviser, Hon. David Demenongo Orshi is to be in charge of Project Monitoring and Evaluation.
