In a statement issued on Saturday, the group described the reports as "false, baseless, and deliberately misleading," urging members of the public to disregard them.
According to the National Coordinator of the group, Hon. Christie Mlan, Senator Akume remains firmly in office and continues to discharge his responsibilities with dedication and unwavering loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
“These rumors are nothing but a product of mischief makers seeking to distract the public and undermine the remarkable progress being achieved under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu,” Mlan stated.
She reaffirmed the group’s confidence in the leadership of Senator Akume, noting that his contributions to national development and good governance remain impactful and widely acknowledged.
The group called on Nigerians to remain focused and continue supporting the Tinubu-led administration in its efforts to build a secure, prosperous, and united country.
