The African Democratic Congress (ADC) will on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, formally unveil its party structure and introduce its various aspirants to the people of Igumale District in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State.
The event, scheduled to hold at Egwu Square, Igumale, by 2:00pm, is being convened by Hon. Chief Patrick Ogbu, a member of the party’s steering committee.
According to the organisers, the programme is aimed at officially presenting the ADC to grassroots supporters in the area, while also familiarising residents with the party’s leadership and political aspirants ahead of future elections.
Top party leaders expected at the unveiling include the National Chairman of the ADC, Senator David Mark, GCON; the National Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola; the Deputy National Chairman (North Central), Senator Tunde Ogbeha and the Benue State ADC acting Chairman.
Also listed for the event are members of the Benue State Steering Committee, including Rt. Hon. Stephen Onmeje, as well as the ADC Chairman in Ado Local Government Area, Hon. Shagari Ejike.
Party officials say the gathering underscores the ADC’s resolve to deepen its grassroots presence in Benue State and mobilise support around its political vision, with a call on residents of Ado Local Government Area to participate actively.
The event is being held under the theme: “ADC… Arise and Shine, Ado Local Government Area.”
