The attacks, which occurred in Otukpo-Nobi in Okete District and Akpachi-Ugboju, reportedly claimed the lives of several residents and left many families devastated.
Reacting to the tragic incidents, Hembe described the killings as senseless and unacceptable, stressing that no society can make meaningful progress when innocent citizens are constantly subjected to fear and violence.
According to him, "The repeated attacks on our communities are a grave concern. Government at all levels and security agencies must rise to the occasion by taking proactive steps to protect lives, secure our communities, and ensure that those behind these heinous acts are identified and brought to justice."
The ADC governorship standard-bearer said the continued loss of innocent lives demands a coordinated response from all relevant authorities, emphasizing that the safety and welfare of citizens must remain the highest priority.
He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the people of Otukpo Local Government Area, and the entire Benue South Senatorial District, praying for the peaceful repose of those who lost their lives and for God's comfort and strength for everyone affected by the tragedy.
