We are very much aware of the Zone C consensus resolved in favor of Barr. Omale Omale for the State Chairman and other persons for various positions in the Zone as well as other complaints from Zone B on the Organizing Secretary, and Zonal Chairman of Zone A respectively, all pending at the National We therefore use this medium and opportunity to address members of our party to disregard any of the information such as the one they have put themselves together to do against the resolves of our party leadership at the various Zones by using their private account to mobilised money from innocent members of our party to renovate the apartment of one of the leaders of our party all in the guise of renovating a State Secretariate and an interactive sessions with Aspirants of our PartyandotherStakeholders.
Again we ask that every members of APC who desires to aspire into any public office should continue with their consultations with regards to the Electoral Act and the party's constitution, and we charge them to stay law abiding in their consultations for the expression of their intentions and as soon as the time permits, the National Secretariate will rest the issue of the State Chairman and other officers, and INEC will issue a secular as per the Electoral Act of Nigeria to enable people to begin to campaign for one office or the other.
In the main time, consultations are personal and they are also meant to engender and encourage members to hip and heighten party's activities before, during and after elections.This we encourage, this we support. I maintain again that; the State Exco -elect are still in contention as beyond the consensus Chairman, Barr. Omale Omale, there are other consensus elected officers of the party from other local Government whose pettition awaits determination by the leadership of the party by the National. Let's stay calm and continue with our private and personal party activities.
May I quickly bring to mind the just delivered Judgement by Abuja High Court in respect of a Ward Congress conducted in Kano State which now affected the Local government and the state congress respectively.
A situation where others paraded themselves as Exco-Elect and this sole decision affected the Local Government as well as the State Exco- elect of the party. Let us not be in a hurry to own ourselves as one of the officers of the party or the other. The only rightful organ that can determin who is the party officer in any of the ward, LG and the state is the National Working Committee of the party, and they have not made any official statement in that regard at the moment. Our party members and party faithfuls must play by the constitution of the party and are urged to disregard any overzealous surogat who now parade themselves as exco's of the party in a manner that will distract the focus and concentrations of our party members who are busy consulting for one office or the other.
It is our candid advise that everybody should stay law abiding and to stay expectant that the Secretariate of our party will be where all of us owned, an improvement in a personal apartment that is not for the party, should be done with regards to the interest of the party and we think most sincerely that unsuspected members of the party are unnecessarily been taken advantage of and they are urged to maintain their calm, to maintain there cool.
Anybody who participate in any activities put together by anybody in the guise of being State chairman -elect or State officers -elect are only encouraging illegality and fragrant disregard to the guidelines for the conduct of the congresses and the constitution of the party. This again is our candid advise, APC is a constitutional based political party, APC is our collective platform, APC in Benue sSate is a membership base political party and no individual should arrogate to himself the prerogative of determing who is who and who gets what, and who operate as what from where ever apartment they so designates as a party secretariat.
It is only a matter of time, and that time is now that the National Secretariate or the court will so determine who the Chairman and other officers of the APC in Benue State truly are and I am very sure it will be rested on Barr. Omale Omale and the others, and then they shall provide leadership that will make 2023 and beyond a realistic time for our party where we will form government that will be people based, people centered and people driven.
