The Independent Print-media Publishers Association of Nigeria, IPPAN today elected eight (8) executive members to run its affairs for the next three (3) years. 

Arising from a Special Congress of the association at the National secretariat in Makurdi, the media entrepreneurs adopted its constitutional provisions to elect new executives as the incumbent administration tenure led by Babs Usigbe of the Pavilion News ends in18th August, 2023.

The election which was widely adjudged as free, fair and credible produced the Publisher of the Alternative newspapers, Mr Maurice Tsav as National President while Mr. Edward Kwaghaondo of the Frontline newspapers was voted in as National Vice President.

Others were the Publisher of Newsmirrow newspapers, Ede Ogaba Ede as 
National Secretary, Nelson Ogbu of Truepoint Newspaper emerged the National Publicity Secretary, Lawrence Okwe of the Magnet came in as National Treasurer, Philomena Sambe of Community Outreach became successful as National Financial Secretary, while the Publisher of worldlink, Jiji Jack emerged as National Welfare Secretary and Samuel Adzegeh of the Mandate Magazine won the position for National 
 Auditor.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of all the newly election officials, the President elect, Mr. Maurice Tsav expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the election describing it a unifying exercise rather than the usual election that often cause division among members and pledged the new exco commitment to move the association forward.
