The member representing Ado/ Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Chief (Dr.) Philip Agbese, has said that one of his major priorities as a parliamentarian is fulfuling his campaign promises for his people.
The Deputy Spokesman of the House stated this today when he played host to the Okpoga Development Community, ODC, at his office in the National Assembly Complex.
The Enone Servant as he is fondly called disclosed that during campaigns, people make promises based on emotions but thereafter, are faced with the reality of the difficulty of the actual situation.
He assured the group that his doors are widely open to all sons and daughters of Enone at all times and lauded the people for the visit which he noted will make it easier for him to fulfill the demands of the people in terms of growth and development.
Earlier in his remarks, the President-General, of OCD, Hon. Vincent Odo revealed that the delegation was at the office to inform Dr. Agbese of a few critical projects that will improve the lives and well-being of the Okpoga people under his leadership and urged him to do all within his power to assist Okpoga in terms of infrastructural development, peace, and stability even as he thanked him for the warm welcome despite the short notice.
