Over the past year, Hon. Agbese has sponsored and co-sponsored more than 10 bills, ranging from the establishment of key federal institutions to strategic national reforms.
Notably among them:
The Federal College of Agriculture in Agila,
The Federal Medical Centre, Otukpa,
And a proposed commission for non-oil mineral producing communities—all aimed at boosting development in underserved regions
In addition to legislative bills, he moved several important motions—including the investigation of crude oil theft, the Otukpo armed robbery, and calls to protect the environment in Niger Delta host communities.
In the area of education, Hon. Agbese has provided bursary support to over 1,500 students, and initiated school construction projects such as the Chief David Attah Memorial Special Needs School in Igumale and new classroom blocks across Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo LGAs.
His youth empowerment drive includes ICT training and laptop distribution, motorcycles and tricycles for small-scale entrepreneurs, and grassroots sports development through stadium remodeling and civic center construction.
On the health front, notable interventions include the construction of new medical centres, **solar-powered mini-grids for rural hospitals, and ongoing free health outreaches under the Okanga Humanitarian Center.
Hon. Agbese also launched agricultural training programs, distributing thousands of live birds, fertilizer, and farming equipment—alongside establishing a green farm with drip irrigation in Apa-Agila.
Major infrastructure efforts include a 3-kilometre rural asphalt road, motorized boreholes, and the installation of 600 solar-powered street lights across his constituency.
With over 2,500 beneficiaries from federal grants and employment support in security and public service, Hon. Agbese’s legislative footprint continues to expand.
