Hon. Inalegwu Adaje Ejembi has announced the forthcoming unveiling of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Igumale, Ado Local Government Area, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 11th February 2026, at the Egwu Market Square.
According to Hon. Ejembi, the event is expected to mark a significant moment in the political history of Igumale and Ado LGA, as the ADC formally presents itself as a people-driven platform committed to good governance, accountability, and inclusive leadership.
He stated that the unveiling will witness the presence of top party leaders and stakeholders from across the country, led by the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, Senator David Mark, alongside other national, state, and local party officials.
Hon. Ejembi expressed deep appreciation for the leadership of the party and described the expected visit of Senator David Mark and his team as a strong boost to grassroots mobilization and democratic consolidation in the area.
“The unveiling of the ADC in Igumale will not just be a ceremonial gathering; it will be a clear statement that the people are ready for a new political direction anchored on competence, integrity, and service to the masses,” Hon. Ejembi said.
He noted that the ADC is positioning itself as a credible alternative to failed leadership and politics of exclusion, stressing that the party is prepared to champion the interests of the ordinary people, especially youths, women, and rural communities.
Hon. Ejembi further stated that the event is expected to attract massive participation from party faithful, community leaders, youths, and supporters from within and outside Ado Local Government Area, signaling growing acceptance of the ADC at the grassroots.
“From Egwu Market Square, the ADC will send a strong political message that the era of recycled promises is coming to an end. The party is organized, focused, and ready to lead,” he added.
He called on residents of Igumale, Ado Local Government Area, and Benue State to turn out en masse to witness the historic unveiling and be part of a movement aimed at restoring dignity to leadership and hope to the people.
