Governor Ortom hinted the idea Monday, 27th December, 2021 when some Benue born Artistes visited him at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi.
He stated that the sit together is to reason on how best he could support the Artistes to grow into fame and be able to nurture and mentor younger ones to add value to their talents.
The Governor restated the commitment of his administration towards promoting and encouraging talents in all areas, pointing out that some of the stars in Nollywood and elsewhere started in similar humble manner.
Governor Ortom said every Benue man and woman has a contribution to add value to the development of the state, stressing that they only need to do their best at all times in order to achieve success.
Artistes who spoke including TK Swag, Od Wood, Francis Atela and MC Smart, all commended the Governor for his support to Benue Artistes, saying they will always work hard to put Benue on the map of fame in the entertainment industry.
Earlier, President Benue Youth Forum, Terrence Kuanum who led the delegation, commended the Governor for the opportunity to interact with him at very short notice, adding that Benue youth will continue to be good ambassadors of the state wherever they are.
During the visit, a Benue Artiste, Mr Orduen Ikyon, aka Od Wood, presented an album titled: "Ikonic" and souvenirs to the Governor.
