The former Secretary to Ado Local Government Council (LGC) of Benue State and the Benue state House of Assembly candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in just concluded general election, Prince Richard Oriri today rejoined the Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in his council ward of Ijigban.
Speaking during a brief ceremony to receive him, the grassroot mobilizer disclosed that his decision to return to the APC was informed by the need to promote social development and attract political dividends to his people from the center.
While appreciating the stakeholders of the party for what he described as a positive start, he on the other hand promised to leverage on his contacts with decision makers in the country to address the social and infrastructural needs of his people.
In a goodwill message, the APC Youth Leader of Ijigban, Hon. Onma Echoga Ikeh, hailed Oriri's decision and commended him for his unwavering support for the party acknowledging his tremendous contributions towards the victory of the APC's in Ijigban council Ward during the last generl elections even as he expressed optimism that Oriri's return to APC will bolster members' trust in the party at the Ward level.
